Monday 5th October - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny and warm.

Woke to another still morning but passed on joining Mag on her early morning prom walk and instead headed out inn the van at 6.30 with the first stop The Fludyers where there was a nice band of red cloud, getting a few OK shoots before continuing down to Felixstowe Ferry. I arrived at the Martello tower just in time to see the sun appear above the horizon as a yacht motored in! After getting several pics I carried onto the boatyard for a quick walk round as the sun disappeared as the fog rolled up the River Deben and the temperature dropped!
The usual breakfast and exercises in the back garden as the sun was now back and was lovely and warm. Thankfully our new router arrived as we have been off the internet since last Thursday so that is up and running so hopefully I can catch up posting several days worth of pics! Then with the picnic packed we headed up the town to post a couple of things before heading down to the prom, it was lovely with wall to wall sunshine with a gentle onshore breeze and we enjoyed a pleasant lunch in the Spa Gardens before walking all the way to Jacobs Ladder.
